OZZY OSBOURNE: 'Britain Is Too Expensive'
May 11, 2005ContactMusic.com is reporting that Ozzy Osbourne is outraged by the cost of living in Britain, despite his huge wealth.
The former BLACK SABBATH singer has become one of the world's most successful reality television stars in "The Osbournes", but he hasn't forgotten the value of money — and chooses to reside mainly in America where he can live more cheaply.
He says, "I feel Anglo-American. I'm more at home in England, but it's so f**king expensive. I don't know how people run cars, pay mortgages and go on holiday — you need to earn GBP5,000 ($9,000) a week.
"I filled the car with petrol and it cost GBP79 ($148)! I asked the bloke to see if there was a hole in the tank. In America, if they put a dime on a gallon, people chain themselves to the gas pumps."
